ESXI won't boot (lsi 1 foreign config found), how to fix?
Good day. There was a problem loading the ESXI hypervisor.
I turn on the server:
- the post passes without errors
- the EFI Platform Initialization inscription appears - the
IBM Server x logo appears and under it the inscription connecting boot diveses and adapters (before ESXI started loading instead)
- the IBM Server x logo appears and under it the inscription F1 - Setup, F4 - Diagnostics, F12 - Boot order
- everything is repeated over again, no hint of launching the hypervisor.
In the settings of the MegaRAID Bios Config utility, the message "1 foreign config found" appeared. Does
this mean that the disk with the hypervisor has taken off from the configuration? If we click Preview, then I need to import this disk into the configuration.
This is what the current configuration looks like. The hard drives in slot 3 and 5 are in the raid and they store virtual machines.
Tell me, please, the hypervisor is not loaded due to the fact that the disk on which it is located "flew out" of the configuration? If I click Import (see 2nd photo) will it fix the problem?
