GbLAN SATA RAID ATX 4DDR-III
-CPU Intel Core i5-4690 3.5 GHz/4core/SVGA HD
Graphics4600/1+6Mb/84W/5 GT/ s LGA1150
- Kingston HyperX Fury DDR-III DIMM 16Gb KIT

Still not installed, you will have to buy a card from Intel.

Because, as correctly said above, there is no firewood for this piece of iron.
And it is is specific - on a setevukha. VMware has never supported Realtek chips.
If you want to install without crap - take a network card from Intel, for example Intel EXPI9301CT. It works 100% with her.

Most likely, the hardware is simply not compatible, or there are no necessary drivers in the installation disk. ESXi is demanding on hardware in terms of support... For the sake of experiment, try installing 5.0 or 5.1 ESXi. This is due to the fact that, for example, in version 5.5, support for desktop hardware was cut.
So what do you have in the BIOS settings, Hardware virtualization is enabled?

use this
www.v-front.de/p/esxi-customizer.html
through it, add firewood to your network
and be sure to clear the partitions on the media where you put EXSi

it’s quite possible to put it, I put it - but either rebuild it with support, or better buy a native intel pro 1000 - since there was enough money for the raid - then even more so for the card)

I installed esxi 6.0 on the amd 970 chipset, of course the built-in realtek did not start. Going to the store for the Intel EXPI9301CTBLK Network Gigabit CT Desktop Adapter Adapter, PCI-E-1x and no network found again!
It worked after installing the network card in the pci-e x 16 / connector (the one for video cards)
