Errors in macOS Big Sur with touch id and password. Can anyone come across?

Good afternoon everyone!
Ran into two (hopefully so far) issues after reinstalling macOS Catalina and upgrading to Big Sur. The problems are related to touch id and system password. MacBook Air 2018.
The system does not see the fingerprint that I set during the initial system setup and does not require it with a simple login. I removed the fingerprint and decided to add a new one. But when adding a new one (clicking on +), nothing happens.
Also in the system settings, when I want to remove the ban on change (lock icon), the system, as always, asks for a password. I enter it, but the system says that it is not correct. Although with the help of this password I logged into the system.
I think that the solution to these problems may be to reinstall the system or wait for the next update.
But maybe someone knows other solutions to these problems or someone faced this?
Thanks in advance!

PS I don’t know, maybe it doesn’t matter, but my computer was originally, the T2 processor is tied only to my apple id.

Had exactly the same problem.
For my '19 MacBook Pro 16, the following solution worked:

  1. turn off macbook
  2. Press the power button for 10 seconds. macbook starts to boot and then turns off again
  3. Turn on macbook

Hello, I ran into the same problem on mac air 19. Surprisingly, like you, it happened to me after reinstalling from Windows to macos, but I still manage to log in with a password, but the mac ignores my changes. If I find something, I'll write.
