Does MacBook performance drop after reinstalling OS X?

Good day.
Does performance drop after a complete reinstallation of OS X (formatting the disk and reinstalling - using apple) compared to the out-of-the-box version?
Notebook MacBook air 2015.

Delay can only be when installing some newest version of OS on an old Mac.
I have air for 12 years, but both Yosemite and El Capitan got up and fly without problems, as if it was originally intended, although it was intended that way)

The performance will be either identical, or chuuuut faster (if you put the version higher than the one that was)
