Encrypted USB stick

I took care of finding a USB-drive with data encryption, which can be accessed by entering a password or by scanning a finger. I found some Transcend JetFlash models, however, as far as I understand, all use the following scheme: a virtual CD-ROM appears in the system with disk decryption software, a password is entered there, and then the drive itself appears in the system. Given that I would like to use a flash drive not only in Windows, but also in nix, this is a serious drawback.

So, the list of requirements for the device:
- support for on-the-fly encryption, hardwired, without the use of software;
- no need for additional software when using (maximum - to initialize the device for the first time);
- normal work in Windows and Linux (moreover, Linux is often without X);
- decryption of data by entering a password or fingerprint, or rather a combined method;

Ideally, I would also like to have:
- some kind of display for feedback from the device (“password entered incorrectly”, “decryption error”, etc.);
- the ability to encrypt not the entire disk, but any of its parts / partitions.

Thank you in advance.

Do not count for advertising) We are engaged in similar gadgets samurai24.ru - see if it fits.
And be careful Corsair Flash Padlock 2, external drives with proximy cards and fingerprints were cracked by our specialists quite simply.
The cards were hacked by a brute-forcer within 2 days.
As for the rest, as I understand it, the case was disassembled and a password reset was sent to the processor legs.
IronKey are normal - but I was embarrassed that no one can answer anything. And the fact that as you insert them into the computer into the Internet, they constantly send copies of your files to the cloud. Like, if you lose, we will restore them to you)
