e-book selection
Since I read a lot, I decided to buy an e-book, before that I had an acquaintance with the Pocketbook 602 and it was quite successful.
What I expect from the book:
1) A good quality screen with a clear font, preferably with a backlight (not a priority). Screen size - standard 6-7 inches. I would like to have mechanical turning keys on the sides of the book.
2) It is desirable to support fb2, rtf.
3) The price is somewhere up to 1600 UAH (6600 rubles)
4) 3G is not needed, only Wi-Fi. It is desirable that the book works very quickly, I do not want to reap half an hour of turning one page.
5) Long battery life.
From the factors listed above, I was able to choose several books: Amazon Paperwhite, AirBook City Light HD, PocketBook Touch 2 and Nook Simple Touch with GlowLight. (2013) and Kobo Glo.
1) Amazon Paperwhite
+ excellent E Ink Carta screen
+ speed
+ good screen backlight
- no audio support -
no memory card support -
not the highest functionality by the standards of modern readers (no memory cards, no audio player, support for FB2 format, Cyrillic interface and keyboard etc.)
- for normal functionality, dancing with a tambourine is needed (flashing, removing ads, converting files)
2) PocketBook Touch Lux (623)
+ good screen (E Ink Pearl HD), but inferior to Amazon
+ a huge number of supported formats
+ support for memory cards
+ audio support
- small battery capacity
- high cost
3) Barnes and Noble NOOK GlowLight
+ one of the most functional (thanks to android)
+ good screen (E Ink Pearl HD)
+ touch infrared screen - no
audio support
- no memory card support
4) Kobo Glo
+ good screen ( E Ink Pearl HD)
+ support for memory cards
- no audio support
5) AirBook City Light Touch
+ hardware keys
+ touch screen ( E Ink Pearl HD)
+ support for memory cards
- weak battery
You can also buy as an option
1) Barnes & Noble Nook Simple Touch GlowLight but in relation to competitors it has only one advantage, hardware flip keys.
2) PocketBook 624 (the screen is made using Film Touch technology, but has a lower resolution)
3) AirBook City Light Touch
Like everything, help me make this difficult choice. I would love to read your comments about choosing an e-book. You can also recommend an e-book

First, the Kindle supports audio. Secondly, for reading fiction, it doesn’t matter what to take, I would take the cheapest one. Kindle is ideal in this regard = cheap and drop dead quality. But for reading technical literature, readers are absolutely meaningless. Accordingly, memory cards are unclear why, since books weigh little.
I would take the Amazon Kindle Paperwhite 2013. Yes, there are no buttons on the sides, judging by the video review. But the reaction to the touchscreen is simply amazing, it works very fast (judging by the same video review).
yes, I still can’t decide whether I’m smart or beautiful .... for a week I choose what to buy, pocket 2, Barnes & Noble NOOK (The Simple Touch Reader), Amazon Paperwhite, Kobo Glo or AirBook City Light Touch, I tend more to the package, but I just can’t choose, what if they have better ... I would buy everything at once and test for two weeks each ..
