Check the drive on another PC.
If the disc is normally recorded, find out: the problem is in the software (OS) or in the hardware (DVD or something else) on your PC.
Try to boot your PC from another OS (from a flash drive, etc.) and try to burn a disc. If the problem persists, then the problem is in the hardware. If - no, then in the software.
