Drupal8 on Ubuntu?

I'm starting to learn drupal8, I tried to make a site on drupal8 on windows. On windows drupal8, the site can be developed in two environments:
1) In the Acquia dev deskopt 2 program
2) On a local server (I used Open Server)
But in my city, drupal developers in IT companies use the Ubuntu operating system (Linux distribution).
And I have a question. How to write drupal8 sites on Ubuntu? What development environments are used here? Are these some local servers special for Ubuntu? Or are there any programs?
