Drupal 7. Why does an error occur with password recovery on a technical domain?

Good afternoon. There is a site on Drupal 7, vinokuram.ru. For the convenience of working with it, I copied it to another folder on the same hosting, created a copy of the database, the folder is called testvinokuram.ru. I did not start a separate domain name for it, access to it from the browser is obtained by the test domain "testvinokuram.ru.show.site".
The problem is that when accessing a copy of the site on the test domain, it is impossible to log in to the admin panel, it immediately says "login or password is incorrect." Links to password recovery are sent in the form:
testvinokuram.ru/user/reset/1/1471151912/g5a3pbM-1... <blah blah blah>
Those. As you can see, when recovering a password, the name of the site that comes to the mail is not at all the one through which the test site is available in the browser. Naturally, such a link does not work - and when you try to add ".show.site" to this link, the link becomes inoperative.
Changing $base_url in settings.php makes all images inaccessible and the layout slides out. Where to dig so that I can get into the admin panel of the test site?
PS. Thanks in advance.
