Who can explain whether it is possible to install Windows Embedded 8 on a home PC, and are there any differences with regular Windows 8?
Which one to choose: Windows Embedded 8, Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry Pro, Windows Embedded Compact 2013?

Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry Pro is almost identical. I have her. The only difference is the absence of some metro applications. They can be delivered from the store later.
