Copy data from a flash drive over the network?
Good afternoon.
I searched on the net - I did not find anything sensible!
A couple of questions.
1) There is a task in the local area to download files from a USB flash drive when it is connected to a PC.
I immediately remembered XCopy in my head.
Files from drive C - PC1, to drive D - PC2 are copied without problems.
We connect the flash drive to PC1, it is drive F:
Can anyone tell me how to be normal?
If there is no solution to automatically copy when connected, then you can track it, for example, via DameWare Remote
. You can copy via DameWare Remote, but you need to share the flash drive.
2) Is it possible to remove the icon when sharing a flash drive so that a person does not suspect anything?
Thanks a lot!

In my opinion cmd does not work with UNC paths. You can either connect a network drive using net use, disconnect after copying. Or do it in PowerShell.
In cmd, you can find out that there is a flash drive in the computer, for example, by analyzing the output of wmic value.
wmic is able to work with remote computers.
