Hello, I want to buy this monitor: FULL HD MONITOR MSI OPTIX G24C (144Hz). I'm going to connect it to my laptop. The laptop has hdmi 2.1 and the newest MINI DISPLAYPORT. Monica has hdmi 1.4 and displayport 1.2. What is the best way to connect a monitor? Using an adapter to Mini displayport or through hdmi 1.4? I just found out that not all Monikas support 144Hz in FULL-HD on hdmi 1.4

Everything is in the manual. Via HDMI maximum 120, via DP or DVI (cable must be DVI-D (DualLink)) up to 144
