Does preamping harm headphones?

Good day to all! I recently purchased HyperX Cloud Stinger ears, everything is fine. The only negative is the quiet sound, the ears are connected to the built-in sound system, because of this you have to turn everything 100%. Recently I came across an equalizer, it has a preamp function, the more I move the slider, the louder it becomes.
Actually the question is, can this preamplifier damage the headphones? Rupture, etc., etc.
