There is a TV, the TV has an input for a mini-Jack. There is no Bluetooth in the TV, the TV is quite old. What are the options for connecting wireless headphones to such a TV?

Wireless headphones with Bluetooth are unlikely to connect, because they need to be paired with a device that will send a signal (which the TV obviously cannot do).
But you can use wireless headphones with a docking station that use some kind of protocol for data transfer.
