Does it make sense to put sas ssd instead of sata ssd?

Initially, 2 SSD INTEL S3610 (SSDSC2BX480G4) hung on the HP ProLiant DL360p Gen8 with the HP Smart Array P420i raid controller. One ssd crashed. Now I’m thinking about buying one SSDSC2KG480G801 or two HGST 0TS1375 with a sas interface instead of the one that has taken off. Will there be any advantage to SAS ssd?

Depends on tasks.
SAS supports long queues, disk management.
In general - if you use SATA and everything works, then you do not need SAS.
Once you understand that you can't do anything without SAS, then it makes sense to switch to SAS.
