Does it make sense to get a job as a content manager to get into web development?

In my city there is a vacancy for a content manager, they pay little, the essence of the work is in the monotonous filling of sites with text and pictures on cms, mainly on wordpress. They say that you can easily grow into a front-end developer, but at the same time they say that for the first six months I will learn how to quickly fill cms sites with content. Salary - 14-20 tr. Does it make sense to get this position if I want to do web development? Or does it make no sense, because you still have to study on your own? After all, this is a web studio, commercial experience, there are web developers there, but they don’t devote me to development

No. You won't learn anything just by filling the sites. Start developing a template for WP, learn PHP, CSS, Js in parallel. Developers in the studio will not waste their time on your training. Learn the basics, try to get a job as a junior, that's where you will already be trained.
Content manager is a dead end

It makes sense. You will have a live "donor" on which you can practice to your heart's content with WP itself, with markup, and with styles.
Since you will have an office, you will have the opportunity to periodically pull fellow developers, observe the development processes, ask questions and somehow prove yourself in this direction.

No. However, in rare cases, such transitions are also possible if, for example, you work in a small company and you may have tasks that more or less overlap with web development. So, I watched people who went to developers from the same web analysts

The same as a janitor with the goal of becoming an electronics engineer.
lie
How do you think a front-end developer fills websites with content?))
yes
What for? You are going to fill the sites with text there

Do not listen to anyone.
Can.
I did this - first I worked as a lawyer, then I got a job as a content manager at a game development company, where I had to interact with the steam, sony-psn sites, post content on the site, slightly edit the layout as part of updating titles, etc. trifle.
In parallel, I took all sorts of courses like html-academy in my free time, read books and then just changed my job to the position of a front-end developer.
Everyone has their own entrance - someone from a completely different field rolls up, someone from the university with a mathematical specialty, depends on personal cognitive characteristics and motivation, you should not listen to whiners.
