Where can I find an HTML coder?

Hi colleagues, I've been looking for an HTML layout designer for the office for two weeks now, and everything is still the same. There is such an ad on the same Huntim . Tell me what's wrong? Maybe the conditions are not in the market or asking a lot? I will be very grateful!

Personally, as a layout designer, the item “JS / AJAX development” repels me. The layout designer should not program anything in JS, but only be able to use it for visual effects. For example, to be able to implement a slider, pop-up windows, ...
JS developer and layout designer are two different professions. I don’t think that someone will work for two for such a salary.

JS/AJAX development; - this is not a typesetter, no need to cheat.

As I understand it, you are looking for something like Senior Markup Developer.
It is a developer who is an expert in his field.
If for Moscow the salary of a Senior PHP Developer is somewhere around 100-150k, then where can you find a coder for 45k on a trial?

@edogs

There is no salary for Moscow and such a vacancy.
A freelancer in some cheap Uryupinsk with the described skills will have from 60k.
In order to lure him into the office and Moscow, which is costly for him, you need to offer at least one and a half times more.

2 weeks? Not enough ...)
We haven’t been able to find a system administrator for 4 months now, we’ve been looking for a front-end developer for half a year ... and this is not the limit, some have been looking for a year, looking for two ...
All normal personnel have long been working in their warm place, and to seduce them the same (or more on 10-15%) sn is not really easy. All the rest who come pour in on simple questions.
One ad is not enough, even two or three are not enough. Search for yourself, invite, communicate.

The salary is too low. Perhaps you can hire a 1-3 year student, no more.

> Effective Business Resources, we develop complex and interesting services.
boring terrible name, template text, no website. I personally have such assumptions after reading the text: the requirements for senior layout designer, juniors will put pressure on wages. dull office, work on call, they pay little, overtime is not paid, workers, in turn, work to fuck off. everything will have to be done, there are no PMs, their work also needs to be done, there is no development process, tasks spontaneously descend from above and no one knows why this is all. However, they are paid on time. Oh, end of the day.

as a front, such topics warm my soul, of course, because nothing has changed since 2008, when I first published my resume. As there was a wild shortage of personnel, it remains.
Your conditions are normal, the money for a trial for a junior is normal, just reduce the trial period to one month. And the fact that they didn’t find it in two weeks, they wrote correctly above, six months is not a deadline.

There are quite a lot of layout designers now, but almost no one has a good knowledge of js. Many familiar layout designers stumble even on simple tasks with jQuery, to say nothing of a deeper understanding. So good knowledge of js is now rare and not for this salary.
It seems to many that layout designers are the same programmers as everyone else. Not at all, html is just a markup language, and people who previously worked, say, content managers, or have nothing to do with development, are now coming to the layout. And the gap between understanding layout and understanding the basics of programming is huge.
I can tell by my example, I started typesetting 10 years ago, dramatically changing my life. I then graduated from law school. From programming experience, I had faint memories of the BASIC on the zx-spectrum at home and the same BASIC from the school computer science course. 7 years ago, I also started doing flash development and slowly mastering action-script. 3 years ago I became interested in jQuery and started trying to develop something on it. 1.5 years ago I decided to seriously take up java-script. Even now, knowing a lot already, I can’t say that I’m really good at it. All the same, it took a lot of time to independently understand the concepts that programmers comprehend at the university. You know how difficult it is to understand what an object is, if you were not taught this at the institute :)

Why don't you want remote/outsourcing? With personnel in IT, the situation in the country is bad and every year it will get worse and worse. Only the economic crisis will save us.

Boring salary, boring project. If you think that I am wrong on the second point, it makes sense to convince the candidate of the opposite in the job description, otherwise there is absolutely no motivation.

Either all layout designers have run out (which is unlikely), or the offer cannot withstand competition in Moscow. Perhaps it makes sense to reduce the trial period (three times), increase the salary, or find a remote layout designer.

Something has already been said about the technical requirements and salary, so about something else:
1. Nothing at all has been written about the duties of the future specialist, about the project for which you are looking for him.
2. The link to the company does not work
3. "We are developing complex and interesting services." — written under the logo. I'm looking for information on the company in Google, the second link is the VK group with the same logo. The description says: "prompt provision of highly qualified legal, accounting and tax services." Inconsistency
It turns out that it is impossible to quickly find any information about the company and its projects.
I recommend posting a vacancy on itmozg.ru, we will help you as much as we can

A good layout can earn a hundred on freelancing. And it doesn't matter where he lives - you can work remotely. And a bad layout can be found anywhere :) For 50, there will be an ordinary layout without a sense of taste and creativity (this is important, because a designer often has to clean up jambs, no matter how cool he is).

K
karenishe, 2012-07-20
@karenishe

100 is the amount that a high-quality layout that can sell itself manages to earn. if he knows how to sell himself for this money, he has excellent experience. if he has excellent experience, you can count on the fact that he does not stupidly lay out the picture in full accordance with the layout, but brings a piece of himself into it. This is the only way to achieve a quality product.
look at it from a non-business point of view. and you will understand what a huge benefit from this approach to business.

@Tenkoff

Let's look at the essence of what a layout designer should be able to do:
1) Cut
2) Make up
3) Hang zhs khaki so that the layout is not naughty, for example
4) profit
What a front-end developer should be able to do:
1) Design architecture
2) Write a bunch of tests
3 ) Optimize all your fantastic pribludy, so that the selectors do not hang everything in the world
4) Synchronize data between the client / server
5) profit
I.e. The layout designer must make the foundation of the application out of the picture, and the front-ender should make all this disgrace work.
ps Hire a good coder and front-end developer.
