Does Hetzner write off funds before or after services are rendered?

For the first time on hetzner, I started a Cloud server. In the billing I see that 11 euro cents have already "dropped". It is not clear when to pay. I'm used to the fact that any hosting works on a prepaid basis, but what about "our Germans" - when should they pay? In a day, a week, a month? Somehow I missed this moment when registering, agreeing to all the conditions.
