Does Google AdMob use encryption?

Now I am publishing a simple application in the AppStore for iOS. When you download an app, iTunes Connect asks you to confirm that the app meets export requirements. And so there it is asked whether the application uses encryption (even https). The app itself doesn't use encryption, but does AdMob use it? Has anyone had experience publishing an application with AdMob in the AppStore?
Ps in the AdMob documentation found this article. It seems to describe how to set up access to advertising just via HTTP?
