Does an inexpensive monitor on IPS or PLS without a crystal effect exist?
They bought me a DELL U2412M monitor for work. Colors and angles are normal, everything seems to be normal. Except for one thing - a terrible crystalline effect. Some write that this is a myth, I don’t understand how this can be overlooked.
I want to return it and take something without CE. And please help with advice. It is advisable not to greatly exceed its cost, namely 12500, so that you do not have to explain to the director. But if there is nothing for that kind of money, then it can be more expensive.
Not necessarily 24 inches, 22 - 23 will work too. Required mainly for the web (+ a little printing), the closer to sRGB, the better. 1200 in height, of course, I would like, but also not critical. You can glossy, I sit with my back to the wall. Just not rough matte like DELL.
I read about other matrices that they unequivocally merge, but if there is reverse information confirmed by personal experience, then IPS or PLS are not fundamental, something else is possible.
In the store (web store, so I didn’t see it) they advised Asus pb238q. According to reviews, the EC is small there.
Of the models a little more expensive, I googled the Samsung SyncMaster S24A850DW. They generally write about him that there is no CE in principle.
Are there any owners here?
I did not find NOT online stores with a good choice so that you can look normally. And this is a sad trend, the usual ones are becoming less and less.

I now have one of the Dell U2311H monitors: an IPS matrix, a crystal effect (compared to the U2312HM at least) is not noticeable at all.
On all matte matrices, the CE is approximately the same (another question is that not everyone notices it), so only gloss or semi-gloss remains.
Unfortunately, I can’t name specific models of good monitors, because. I myself always choose only matte ones (glossy ones categorically do not suit me), but I can recommend looking at monitor reviews at overclockers.ru, where, among other things, they also study the crystal effect, you can compare it on enlarged photographs of matrices of different monitors.
e-ips matrices have approximately similar pixels and gaps between them, but since Nec is traditionally scolded less than dell, HP and everyone else, look at the NEC EA232WMi store - I sat at 231m, the impressions are good, but everyone has different sensitivity to CE) p -ips, it's h-ips is less "dented", but the cheapest with it is the asus PA246, a rather dark horse, and it's not a fact that you will need adobe rgb coverage (srgb after calibration shows all large modern monitors, but extended coverage is not always can be narrowed down to srgb by simply changing the mode in the menu)
As for draining other matrices - yes, in * VA, black falls through when viewed directly (areas with brightness up to 3-5 out of 100), but there is no trace of CE, plus the backlight uniformity is noticeably higher - I used in work or tested with great predilection 4 * VA and about 5 sips \ e-ips monitors, ips unevenness was everywhere and noticeable. now I mainly use Nec p221 on mva, if adobe rgb coverage does not interfere and you know where to apply it - I recommend it)
You seem to have an old revision. I have 2 pieces, one in August of this year, the second is a little older, I don’t remember exactly. Both do not have a crystalline effect.
There is a solution to the problem - www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=&LH_BIN=1&_sop=15&LH_ItemCondition=1000&_osacat=80053&Screen%2520Size=27%2522&_from=R40&_dmpt=Computer_Monitors&Display%2520Technology=LED%2520LCD&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313&_nkw =2560&_sacat=80053
There are many offers, including perfect pixel (without dead pixels). You can meet the budget, while the monitor is large, the matrix is of high quality. The backlight can theoretically fail, well, reliability - without any special guarantees.
Although I haven’t taken it yet, I’ve read quite a few reviews and suggestions (the agony of choice). I think it will suit your situation.
At least on QHD (2560 by 1440) CE is hardly noticeable. And the matrix there is the same as they say on the Apple Cinema Display 27 ''.
