Does age and educational institution affect hiring?
I’m interested in your opinion about the age for hiring, is it important or not? Soon you have to go to interviews and therefore can they not get a job for this?
And does it play a role in which university I study or studied?
I'm 19 and I know html5/css3, js, jquery and git at a basic level. I am currently learning WordPress.

Watching where.
In the state office - education matters.
In a large corporation, they pay attention to education.
The rest don't care.
Greetings. No, age doesn't matter. The only thing that is important is your professional skills, unless, of course, you are going to go to the state. work. Any reputable IT company appreciates, I repeat, your professionalism, so the basic level is unlikely to give you the way. There is no point in mastering WP without knowledge of PHP. Learn PHP, but not like 95% of the people who learned how to print Hello world know loops and variables. Learn to program, language is just a means of implementation. Learn OOP, you can't do without it, learn design patterns, etc. In PHP, focus on strictness, in PHP7 we can now, use all the features that are inherent in all good PL, namespace, strong typing, iterators, etc. :)
Good luck on your journey
Affects.
But to what extent depends on the organization and personal preferences of HR.
in large companies it affects exactly, because HR adds its requirements to the hiring policy, BUT they suspect that the trend will change soon as well. it will be necessary to solve problems first, and then higher education. The presence or absence of higher education in large companies also affects the amount of your salary. In small companies, where up to 50% of the working time is not devoted to the cultivation of the corporate spirit, you will be important primarily as a function and your ability to solve the problem will be evaluated.
