Do you need software to make the mouse "twitch"?
There was a sudden problem at work. At work, if the computer is under winXP, which if not touched for half an hour, then it turns off. It’s extremely inconvenient, but you can’t get through to the system administrators, they are generally in another city and they really don’t care. Accordingly, there are no admin rights, power settings are not available. Therefore, some kind of software is required, preferably a portable version, so that it periodically “pulls” the mouse. Are there any ready made solutions?

I also needed a similar program to bypass the program that checks the activity for the PC. However, it turned out that the program checks some specific variable in Windows, and therefore my program simply moved it by moving the cursor and did not affect this “variable”. In the end, everything was decided by the fact that I hung the mouse in the air by the tail
Somewhere I read about a simple way to "pull" the mouse. Putting an optical mouse on a mechanical watch with a fairly bold second hand. Every minute, an arrow passing under the optical sensor will move the cursor one pixel.
Damn, I came to read the comments with a proposal to make an offline mechanism for pulling the mouse, no one offers ...
Look for some automator for mouse and keyboard actions, and set it up with a scheduled launch.
Phone with vibrator.
on it a book / rug
on top of the mouse.
We set an alarm clock for 10-20 minutes and go about our business =)
Leave the start menu open - then all these things will not work.
Haven't tried it, but suddenly:
