Do not pass traffic through WiFi station and bridge?

The situation is as follows:
There is a "head" router, not mikrotik, 192.168.1.1, WiFi, dhcp, DNS
There was a need to expand the network coverage via WiFi.
I connect to the host as a wireless station, combine Ethernet and wlan into a bridge and ...
Mikrotik itself receives IP and pings 192.168.1.1
But clients only ping Mikrotik and do not see 192.168.1.1 , and also do not receive dhcp.
So far, I have configured the microt as a router, with its own subnet and nat, but, for a number of reasons, this is not very good ... Tell me
, what could be the snag?

And how do clients ping 192.168.1.1 if, in your words, they do not receive anything via dhcp. Does Mikrotik see the Internet? Why bridge Ethernet? Do you have clients working on the wire through Mikrotik?

Enable ARP in the bridge settings. I hope the DHCP client on Mikrotik is glued to the bridge?
