Do I need to put a dot at the end of Nameserver?

I took a VPS on DigitalOcean, and there is a dot at the end of the nameservers:
ns1.digitalocean.com.

Do I need to specify this point in the nameserver in the place where I bought the domain or not?

Most likely yes, try it, if you put it without a dot and you need it, it seems that the neurosurgery should not be installed. Write to the support.

The dot at the end means it's a FQDN, not a relative one.
If there is no period, then the name of your domain will be added to the name.
In advanced panels, they themselves guess and put or remove extra points.

The dot is the same as the dns name, we just don’t write it, if you put a dot in the browser, the site will work.
So some types of entries require a full name with a dot at the end.
If we talk about realities, then you need to look at a specific server.
Everything depends on him.
After all, you put it in the GUI softinka which then generates the file, and how it generates it is her business.
Some people finish writing and you will succeed .. in the end.
some do not
Therefore, look by analogy on this admin panel. If the dot is put, then put
if the dot is not put, do not put it.
As well as @ in the RFC it is not! but some admins have it ;)
