Do I need to present the work to the submitter or just send the source?

What are your thoughts on this? Does anyone arrange their work in some kind of presentation or not?

Just send full-sized pictures with a title, for example: Catalog.jpg, Shopping cart.jpg, etc.

If you mean the final delivery of the project, then it is not necessary, if this is not a brand book or some kind of complex guidelines for the web.
If we are talking about intermediate shows, everything is simple. The worse your presentation will be (sending jeeps in an email without comments is just the worst option), the more likely that the client will not understand the design.

Presenting is not the same as presenting. It is necessary to explain the logic of decision making. Preferably in a voice to be able to answer questions.
