Do I need to pay support to get Ebay API limits?

It's time to raise the limits for api on Ebay, after reading a little about how to get them, I came to the conclusion that you need to connect paid support, and as far as I understand it costs $ 75 per hour.
Tell me who faced a similar problem:
1.) Do I really need to connect paid support or can I do without it? (Maybe somehow longer to wait but for free ...)
2.) How do they consider the time spent on me, because the request is written, I can write everything you need and they will answer me in 5-6 hours and tell me to pay for 5- 6 hours. I just haven't come across hourly support fees...
3.) What problems can arise that will drag on for many hours of service?
I made a dropshipping service, it works, but the limits are already not enough for a day, so I’m thinking of making a store-like wrapper and applying to increase the limits, and here the question arose of how best to increase them and how much money it will take.
Ps - I didn’t write to Ebay itself, because I’ll write something else (for example, what I do) and get banned altogether ...

It's also interesting how it works, maybe in the future it will be needed. If you find out, please write here. But most likely you need to look for information in the English-speaking segment, it is more likely that you will get an answer. By the way, what kind of service do you have, let me see.
