Do I need to learn templating if I plan to use ReactJS?

I am studying node.js, in the course we talked about template engines, for example: EJS.
Does it make sense to focus on this if I plan to learn and use ReactJs?

It will take an hour or three to get into the topic. Knowledge is useful. It's enough just to try the basic things. It is not worth memorizing the API of a template engine, which is not the fact that you will ever use it.
