Do I need to give meaningful names to images?

Greetings
Thinking about whether or not images should be given meaningful titles before they are posted on the site. Let's say there are pictures with a person or a car with the names DCIM_0001.jpg and DCIM_0002.jpg. Do I need to change the technical names to human-readable ones: man.jpg and car.jpg? I looked at the sites, someone writes meaningful names, but most do not write. Do search engines say anything about this (minus the alt and title attributes) and how do you write and what do you recommend and why?

If you do not fill in the alt and title, then there is no point

This will help with the ranking of images in the search results by images.

Yes. There's a meaning. Even without alt and title, for example, if the picture is called even in transliteration "otdyh_na_prirode.jpg" - then it has a great chance to get into the search results for the corresponding query "outdoor recreation"

I don’t think that PSs store and take into account in ranking the names of connected files on their unlimited clouds.
Be sure to have and write meaningful alt to images.
