Do I need to carefully clean the dust from the laptop slots?

We decided to fill the slots in the laptop that had been empty for 2 years (RAM and ssd m2). They contain 100,000% dust, hence the question - is it necessary to blow it out to the last speck of dust before installing components? What can happen if this is not done?

Memory may not work if the slots are too dusty or unstable.
But I know for sure that when performing qualified maintenance, the equipment is completely cleaned of dust - simply because working with dirty equipment is inconvenient, unpleasant, and sometimes dangerous - an asthma attack or an acute allergic reaction, for example.
For cleaning, they use a brush and compressed air (not a hair dryer, not a vacuum cleaner, but a cylinder or a compressor!), In especially advanced cases, they wash it with alcohol. In the most severe cases of flooding / dirt ingress, wash with plain water and detergent, after which all water is immediately removed with alcohol and blowing.
In addition, we should not forget that dust interferes with the normal removal of heat, because it accumulates just where the cooling air circulates.

It is not necessary to clean it to a shine, but just blowing it is definitely necessary.

Vacuum cleaner + Soft brush (you can paint pile 30-40 mm) - We were taught this way at the University.
The method is proven and reliable. This is quite enough for normal and long-term operation of any electronics (including a computer).
Fluids are used ONLY if soldering has been performed to REMOVE FLUX.
