Do I need full hd on a 15.6" laptop?
I'm wondering if the difference between 1366 * 768 and 1920 * 1080 at 15.6 "is noticeable by eye in games?
Now I just have to choose between two laptops of the same series (asus n56), in short, the first has a more powerful processor (i7 3630QM vs. i5 4200H), almost the same video (740m vs 840m), the same 6gb RAM, also the first one is cheaper by a thousand, BUT the first one has 1366*768, and the second one is full hd, and I'm worried that this is too low a resolution and everything will be pixelated in games (ladders and all.) On the other hand, it will give a performance boost...

At the moment, Full HD is needed. I will explain for several reasons. Here, on phones with a size of 5 inches, the resolution is more than 400 ppi and we are already used to it, although the human eye no longer distinguishes above 350 and 1366 * 768 would be enough for us like the 6th apple with its 326ppi. But with laptops, things are different. The same MacBook Pro with its 2560x1600 matrix does not even reach 300ppi with its 13.3-inch screen, which means that if we get down from the phone to the laptop, we will feel the difference. Whether it's a matter of TVs, you ask, what about them if, with a diagonal of 40, 46, 52 inches, they also have Full HD. Here another parameter enters the arena, such as contrast, brightness and Hertsovka, which fill the gap in quality, although not completely. What can not be said about laptops, especially from Asus, which do almost everything with TFT technology and with a smaller margin of brightness and contrast. And the lower resolution is due to the cheapness of components and long battery life, which is very important in the age of ultrabooks and Macs that play at least 5-6 hours. If you take a closer look at the price category, you will understand that a good Windows laptop with a good screen and an SSD drive costs much more than a MacBook Pro. He himself has the choice of buying a laptop for his Aunt and among all the Mac wins in terms of characteristics similar to it. You can check out the Sony Fit 15 laptop, Acer Aspire S7, Asus Zenbook and get a MacBook MGX72 that costs the same or less. But if you need a gaming one, feel free to take Asus with a discrete video card, but preferably with Full HD which is very important in the age of ultrabooks and Macs that play at least 5-6 hours.
