Where can a mere mortal buy spare parts for a laptop?
The button on the touchpad does not work on an HP laptop. The panel with these buttons needs to be replaced. This panel is removable, easy to remove, fixed with two screws. But the trouble is, it is only available for sale as part of a larger block ( part number 640458-001 ), the usual price for which on eBay is $ 70, excluding delivery. There are cheaper options out there, but they are still expensive. Requests to sell this panel separately are rejected (sellers are easy to understand).
And we need a little thing like this with the number 595203-001
It was somewhere in Australia, but it ended.
Maybe somewhere in Russia there?

I'll tell you how I operate from Odessa, Ukraine.
-Firstly, acquaintances, repairmen, then local forums, a radio market where there is a bunch of all sorts of electronic offal.
- Laptop repair offices, sometimes you can negotiate with them to buy such trifles separately.
-Internet stores, specifically for laptop components /
- Aukro auction, there you can find a lot of good things, and not only for laptops, but in general for everything. In Russia, there seems to be a similar site, called Molotok
the official service center can come to your aid - I was very often helped in Kyiv by both Asus and Dell with HP to get such small parts from old corpses for a small amount.
Well, in Moscow you can find everything at the Savelovsky market.
I walk there periodically, if you don’t find it by mid-January, write in a personal, I’ll look.
You can try to search here , I found the power button for sams n150 in the analysis (separately toggle switch and plastic)
