Is it possible to put one bar of RAM in a laptop if there are two connectors for RAM?

Guys, tell me please. I choose RAM for a gaming laptop, the laptop supports 32 GB. I found RAM for 32 in the format of one bar. My laptop (Acer Nitro AN515-52) has two RAM slots. The question is, is it possible to put 32 GB with one bar or do you need 2 by 16?

You can put one, but the RAM will not work in two-channel. I recommend putting two.

it will most likely work, but slower than 2 bars in a two-channel. if you need normal performance (apparently games?) - buy 2 16GB each ... not necessarily a set. you can just buy 2 identical "odnushki"
