Do I need a use case for tasks that run automatically on a schedule?

Whether it is necessary to write use cases for cases when some action is performed automatically according to a schedule.
For example, annual deletion of obsolete data with an entry in the system log.
And if so, how to display this action on the Use Case diagram, because the system cannot be an Actor by itself.
