Do I need a separate CRM if the site uses the Magento platform?

Is the back office of Magento itself enough to manage clients or do you need an additional third-party CRM?

This should be decided by the employee, the manager and the owner of the store - whether the built-in functionality of Magento is enough for them, or whether they still need CRM.
I now use CRM for my stores because, in addition to Magento, it allows me to:
Therefore, the built-in Magento functionality was not enough for me, and I implemented the Oro Platform for myself .
This is a platform for business applications created by the founder and former developers of Magento 1.x.
Based on this platform, they created their replicated CRM (OroCRM), as well as, together with partners, a number of other business applications:
I evaluated different accounting systems, and I justified my choice of Oro Platform here .
I documented the knowledge and skills gained during the implementation process on my website oplatform.club .
It is noteworthy that some of the functionality of my accounting system is available publicly.
For example, on this mini-site of mine, dedicated to one of my software products - the Stripe module for Magento 2 , the list of clients is dynamically generated using the Oro API based on information from my CRM system.
