Do I need a PoE Injector?

I want to buy a Cisco WAP361 to power it from an Ethernet cable. I can’t understand whether I need to buy a PoW injector or is it enough to buy a router? Tech support provider can not suggest anything.

If an injector is needed, which one? The task is simple, so that it becomes 1 cable less.

What is a PoE splitter and how does it work?
Technical support will not tell you, because they do not know if you need it or not. Read what PoE is and decide for yourself if you need it or not.

There is a documentation about it.
Apparently, the splitter is not needed, it itself can be powered from Ethernet via the LAN0 port.

You need an injector. That is, a power supply to supply PoE power over an Ethernet cable to the Cisco WAP361.
It can be either a separate box with a power supply or a switch with PoE ports

That is, you want to immediately connect the cable from the provider to the Cisco WAP361?
PoE (power over cable) is a technology that is not built into every switch, it is unlikely (0.01%) that your ISP uses switches that support PoE. The documentation for the access point says that it can be written in two ways PoE (switch or injector) or power supply. Any injector with 802.3af support.
Access points of this type (wall mount) are designed for one room, such as a hotel room, or a meeting room. I wouldn't recommend taking it. From the SOHO segment, it is better to look at Asus.
