Dismantled the laptop, put it back together, and the screen does not work. What is the reason?

Took it apart, cleaned it, put it back together, plugged it in. The screen stopped working. Why all of a sudden is not clear.
In the test run, I saw a spark in the zone marked in the photo. And even a little lower ...
What could be the reason, and how to fix it?

Collected incorrectly. It is necessary to check the cable and the power on the display, it is possible that it was crushed during assembly, if there was a "spark", then it was possible that there was a short circuit, it is not a fact that after that the screen can be restored.

Speaking of bad things. :-) I had a case when the motherboard was pierced by static during cleaning, as a result, a non-working BIOS chip and a video chip. At the same time, everything seems to turn on, but the screen is black. This possibility can be eliminated if you connect an external monitor via vga / hdmi, does it work? -Alleluia)
