Define incoming and outgoing traffic in zabbix?
Good day!
There is a zabbix server and a router (5 ports) to which there is no direct access. Port 0 looks "out", ports 1-4 are internal routed networks. Port 1 is connected to the switch.
I hung up a template in zabbix on port 1 that counts outgoing and incoming traffic.
The question is: what is incoming traffic and what is outgoing traffic?
Those. incoming - is it the one that comes from ports 0, 2-4 to port 1 and leaves this port to the switch?
Or is the incoming one that comes from the switch to port 1 and goes to ports (distributed across ports) 0, 2-4?
The same goes for outgoing.
Explain, great gurus, this moment to a stupid, lost in three pines, novice admin.

Traffic incoming/outgoing relative to the port. If you set up monitoring of 1 port, then the incoming traffic will be on 1 port, and outgoing from 1 port. And it is not necessary that this traffic will be from other ports or to other ports. Maybe this traffic will be to the router itself.
