I have no sense of taste, I know photoshop. For some time now I have been making WordPress sites using ready-made templates from themeforest.net . All these are crutches, you can’t really roam here.
The soul and sense of beauty set the task - to become a true designer, to be able to translate any of your design ideas into reality.
As I understand it, for this you need to learn how to design websites in PSD layouts. It turns out like a basis.
The issue of layout is not yet worth it. The task is to get the correct, ready-made PSD layouts at the output, on the basis of which you can make up the site.
Question: where to start, what to study? Who will advise what?
