Create a container or encrypt the entire drive?

There is an ssd. As you know, it is impossible to delete a separate file from it (permanent deletion) and the only reliable option is only a "good" formatting of the entire disk. I don’t really want to do this for the sake of several files, and therefore the question arose. But what if you don’t just create an encrypted volume using truecrypt and don’t drag these files there?! Or will this not help, because nothing will change from the fact that we drag them into an encrypted volume, because the "tails" will remain in an unencrypted section?! Then just encrypt the entire hard drive?!

and the only reliable option is to "good" format the entire drive.
Formatting won't help at all. Formatting writes several megabytes to the disk.
To guarantee deletion from the SSD, you need to completely overwrite the entire volume and reserve with data.
That is, you need to write about 300GB of incompressible data on a 250GB SSD.
Regarding the container vs disk ...
If you just store files and do not work with them, a container is more convenient.
If you open them, it is likely that temporary files will be created on the system drive.
Therefore, to exclude the possibility of unauthorized access, you must encrypt the entire disk.
But it's often a lot of work. Here it is necessary to choose quickly or safely.

delete ... single file is not possible
It is possible to fill x00 file. And then you can delete it.
