Correctly working antivirus under Windows 8 Pro?

Hello.
I set the aforementioned system as the main one and, you know, I even really liked it. Both usability and interface - nothing causes rejection ... Although, maybe because this is not a beta, but a ready-made licensed OS obtained from Dreamspark.
I just ran into a problem - when ESET Smart Security is enabled (read, installed), the latest of the 5th versions of the Metro application does not work correctly. Some won't start, some hang before logging out. Deleted it and all is well.
I almost never saw any malware on my PC, I don’t go to any “crap” sites, but the lack of protection (well, except for Windows Defender) confuses me.
Actually, the question is: is there anyone who also uses an antivirus on Win8Pro and at the same time they work correctly for him?Metro apps ? What is this antivirus? Share.

At work, I tested MSE. Not a single complaint in half a year.
I also installed it at home. There are no problems at all.

Lord, where do you people get such problems from? It seems that technically competent users have gathered here, and everyone is afraid of some kind of viruses.
I have not had an antivirus for 10 years and everything is ok.

In Windows 8 Defender, this is the former MSE. So you do not need to install anything, you already have an antivirus installed.

Windows Defender (MSE) works properly, treats rubbish from flash drives, did not experience any problems with it, and the PC is clean.

Now I'm using a standard defender, I'm waiting for Kaspersky to be done.

I have been using Kaspersky since the 5th version (only from the 6th I spat). Now 2013 is out for Win8. With proper tuning and direct hands, I did not encounter any problems. Although, if the hands are very straight, you can generally not install an antivirus. But my kung fu is not that strong.
