Cordova is the client and phonegap is the server?

I have previously raised the issue and even wrote that I understood everything. But I'm sorry, but I realized that I did not understand anything.
Please explain again and correct if I'm wrong, the client part is written on Cordova, while it compiles quite well into the visual studio, and phonegap is a server part using just node.js - is that so? And by the way, how to make all this then an application that is already connected

Phonegap is the old name for Cordova. Used to write mobile applications in html5/js/css. It has nothing to do with the server part, it needs to be written separately using server technologies - php / nodejs / python, etc.
