Connecting a Display Port monitor to a TV?

Good afternoon.
The bottom line is that there is a monitor (Display Port (DP), HDMI, Jack 3.5 x 2, VGA outputs)
a laptop (1 HDMI output) and a TV (4 HDMI outputs).
From the laptop there is an HDMI cable to the monitor (there are no more outputs) and the question is whether it is possible to connect a TV via HDMI to the monitor by purchasing a Display Port-HDMI adapter.

Oh my brain. No. You have one exit, but you forgot about the entrances. In fact, there is only one HDMI output on a laptop and everything else on a TV and monitor are inputs. Accordingly, no Monitor-TV schemes will work.

Do you have a Display Port on your laptop? Could you tell me the laptop model?
