Connected a new PSU = Infinite BIOS loading, what should I do?
Hello everyone, I bought a new power supply. Connected to a computer.
1st start, 3 times in a row the power turned off then turned on.
Then a black screen for 2-3 minutes, then the BIOS boot took a long time. Restarted PC.
Again black screen. Turned it off.
What could be the reason? What are my next steps.
There is one difference in connection with the previous PSU. In the past, the power on the processor was 6 pins, but this time I stuck 6 + 2.

To start, turn off the computer, turn off the power supply unit, remove the bios battery and forcibly reset the bios by closing the contacts of the battery connector, after which it will try to start without a battery, I encountered this behavior when the battery is almost empty
Ps sometimes a long first boot with several reboots after a complete blackout is normal
