Computer without a system. How to install?

Hello!
Friends bought a laptop without a system.. Lenovo G700. Someone installed Linux for them / it’s not clear why /, and since I’m pretty good at computers, they asked me to reinstall the system on the good old Windows ..
When you turn on the computer, the Lenovo sign appears, but there are no signs on how to start bios. All F2/12/11/3 do not work.. Right after the logo appears, the Linux purple screen turns on..
After I insert the disk into the drive and restart the computer, pressing all the F keys so that at least something appears , nothing happens - Linux turns on again.
Once it turned out to start the installation of Windows, but since NO drivers were installed, nothing could be installed ..
Good Toasters /or whatever you call :)/, tell me, please, how to install the system for your friends?
Thanks in advance

Are you "well versed in computers" and can't find the BIOS button on the Lenovo G700?))

KO tells you - you need to open the user manual and read which button is responsible for entering the BIOS and when it needs to be pressed. After selecting the media with the OS to be installed, you will need to follow the instructions of the installer.

Once it turned out to start the installation of Windows, but since ANY drivers were not installed, nothing could be installed ..

There are doubts about how well you understand computers, judging by this phrase, but oh well.
Lenovo often has oddities with such things. Up to the inconspicuous button on the side to enter the BIOS. But the G700 doesn't seem to have one. Try pressing the function keys while holding Fn. Like Fn+F2, Fn+F12.
In addition, not every Windows will immediately start up there. Dig into the bios. There, somewhere in the reset area, there is probably an opportunity to reset the settings to those optimized for a particular OS. Let's say, if you reset it to the settings for Win8, then it will be extremely difficult to put the seven, if not impossible, then extremely difficult. That is, what you put, under that, and discard.

Turn off your laptop. To the right of the power button there is a button with an orange arrow, press it strictly with the laptop turned off. a menu will open on a blue background, you are interested in "Enter bios setup". Next, on the "boot" tab, you need to disable all UEFI options, disable "secure boot", set the "optimize for OS" parameter to "other os", set the first item to boot from the drive. Please note that the item boot from the drive must be without the word UEFI. and you will succeed.

Lenovo has a recessed button on the side of the power connector that reboots the piece of iron into the BIOS setup mode.40726dbaa45d423f9e490f0bf7d62c94.jpg

The DEL button doesn't work either? Try TAB again, it seems to include standard BIOS messages.
