Computer Account in AD - is it possible to use it for other purposes?

Good afternoon.
There is such an entity in AD - Computer Account.
There is even such a procedure for her - Account Reset.
And in the Security logs there are a lot of logon / logoff events on behalf of these accounts (COMPUTERNAME$)
Questions:
1) is it possible to somehow use the Computer Account credentials by analogy with the User Account (if you somehow pull them out of AD)
2) what exactly happens when resetting the computer account (reset account)? Whether there is a difference with removal/re-adding of this machine in AD?
