Closing the Samsung n145+ lid?
I have a Samsung n145+ netbook running Ubuntu 11.10. The problem is that when you close the lid, the netbook, as it should, goes into standby mode, but only the second time. Did some digging and found that acpi is not updating the lid state in /proc/acpi/button/lid/LID0/state. Accordingly, the wasp thinks that the lid is closed and does not fall asleep, but as soon as you close / open the lid, everything falls into place state = open and the next time you close the netbook successfully falls asleep. How can it be cured?
