Changing Linux distribution with Windows 7 running in parallel
Linux Mint and Windows 7 are installed on the computer, they are loaded via GRUB
I decided to change Mint to Kali Linux.
In theory, it seems to me that after the usual formatting of the partition with mint, garbage entries will remain in GRUBe. How bad is it (MB just don't pay attention, and MB will interfere with the installation of Kali), how to get around this without touching Windows?

The partition will be formatted? Then the old config, at the time of creating the new one, simply will not exist. There will be no old entries.
