Cinema 4D

Cinema 4D lags a lot when there are a lot of polygons (objects), what should I do?

I have an i9 9900k with 16gb ram.
i want to make a mesh, and i need to cloner approximately 500X100 "Cylinder" objects with 8 segments and use boole to cut out these holes on the cube, but Cinema 4D starts to lag a lot and I can't even just create so many objects + while doing this I I go into the task manager and Cinema absolutely does not strain the processor or RAM, but it lags a lot.

Firstly!!! - boule in cinema distorts the mesh topology very much!! Better - use the mesh boolean plugin, this time.
Secondly, any cloners strain the blue exponentially, especially if the primitive + effector combination is used.
third - turn off everything that is not participating in the process at a given time,
if you need a bunch of arrays, better use Octane Scatter - but it must be rendered already by it ...

@HMB

Perhaps hardware OpenGL is disabled in the C4D settings
