Computer for 3d modeling?

Hello. Got a question. Does anyone work in 3d on macs?
I have this one now:
iMac 27' 2015
Proc 3.3 Ghz intel core i5
RAM 16 GB
Video card AMD Radeon R9 M395 2gb
And it's pretty hard to handle when working in a blender. When modeling, everything is ok, no problems, but it's worth starting texturing a little more difficult than just painting in monotonous colors - even in eevee, unrealistic brakes start with friezes of 5-6 seconds or more. I generally keep quiet about Cycles. For example, when I did this thing according to the tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WX1rZAMfMKE - a 9-second render of such a video took 15 hours (everything was ok with the render settings, everything was done according to the tutorial).
Texturing becomes hell. It is generally impossible to load ready-made textures, because even if you put some material on the cube, friezes appear.
There are also problems in skuplpting. After reaching a certain number of polygons (we are not talking about a million or even hundreds of thousands), sculpting ceases to be possible, because, again, wild brakes.
Actually the question itself. I have been working on Macs for the last 5 years and have no desire to switch to Windows. Now I am considering a new macbook pro 16 in a good configuration. But there was a concern, maybe it's better to just assemble a stationary PC? Or will a macbook handle everything? Do 3d artists even work on macs? What about laptops? Is it worth considering a laptop at all? Enlighten please)

If you are doing 3D professionally, then I definitely recommend a PC. Because they can be improved in the future. If you want GPU rendering, install a newer and more powerful video card(s).
In general, in terms of the ratio of efficiency / money, the PC is more profitable.
I myself worked for a long time on poppies in 3D (both stationary and laptops). I like everything about them. But when I needed it faster and more powerful, I had to switch to a PC.
Of course, it also depends on what you do and in what area you are going to develop.
My personal opinion:
If you do the work (3D), then the PC. And if you just want a nice working environment for fun, then Mac.
