Choosing a monitor up to 10,000 rubles

Advise, please, a monitor up to 10 thousand rubles.
Goals: an elderly person will work, the Internet, work with documents, cinema, a little bit of games.

Did a market search. Basic conditions: normal matrix (IPS or PVA) and price up to 10000. Removed monitors with a resolution of 1600x900. 4 left :

  • LG Flatron IPS236V
  • DELL 2209WA
  • NEC MultiSync EA191M
  • DELL U2211H

Maybe someone used similar monitors? Maybe someone will tell you some suitable monitor not from the list? Maybe someone will tell you which of these monitors to take?

I would be grateful for any advice

DELL U2211H disappears immediately - a resolution of 1920 at a diagonal of 21.5 "is a tin even for most people with normal vision. The pixel is very small. Partly, of course, the matter can be corrected by the OS settings - but only partly.
Yes, and in fact, for the Internet / office needs 1920 resolution is redundant. Moreover, for these purposes, I would try to look for a 4:3 model, since documents and web pages have a vertical orientation.(Although I know that this is unrealistic now, I recently bought a monitor myself - also DELL, only more expensive) NEC MultiSync EA191M
is just 4:3, but ... a little expensive for its diagonal. If it were a couple of inches larger, I would recommend it. Good model, my brother has one, I regularly see it with my own eyes.
LG Flatron IPS236V - did not see prices on the Market. Without it, the conversation is meaningless.
It remains DELL 2209WA. A quite sufficient resolution of 1680x1050 with aspect ratios of 16:10 (not 16:9) is “for a family home” just what the doctor ordered.

I have a Dell 2209WA, in principle an excellent monitor, but specifically my copy let us down - there is some kind of floating backlight defect (the upper third of the screen sometimes darkens), and it appeared after the warranty ended :(
As for the resolution - for 22 "1680 *1050 just right, 1920*1080 is too small at native resolution... If you take FullHD, then it's better than the "big brother" - DELL U2 3 11H (if you can find up to 10 sput), well, or LG.

I think that for an elderly person, taking into account the tasks, just 2209WA will be better than U2211H, because there is a larger pixel.

Of all these models, it is worth considering only
DELL U2211H
LG Flatron IPS236V and even better model IPS231P-BN (LED backlight, better leg, and the frame will not be distracting)

I use Dell U2211H.
There are practically no "ladders" on gradients (compared to terrible TN), a comfortable leg - spins and rises / falls as you like. The built-in USB hub saves you from a bunch of hanging wires from a mobile phone, a webcam, a headset charging from a computer. The buttons on the panel can be reassigned, and therefore a convenient input switch is obtained (it is convenient, for example, to use it for the main computer and home “server”)
Among the shortcomings, I noticed: a slightly slow-witted menu and the power button in the lower right corner of the monitor often gets under the finger when turning .

I bought (last month) a BENQ G2420HD. Full HD resolution. DVI, HDMI, VGA - inputs ... I'm completely satisfied ...
Oh yes - 24 inches screen diagonal ...
And it costs about 8 kilorubles ...

Will the BenQ VW2420H work? Best budget monitor in my opinion. The picture is very decent and 24".

I use DELL U2311H - the most incredible budget IPS monitor. Highly recommend, he earns his money with a bang. Tilt/Swivel options are amazing (up to 90 degree tilt)

We bought an Envision LCD 22" G2219 for my father for his birthday - 6000 rubles, 1680x1050, 22 inches. The quality for such a price is amazing.
